ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams failed to sell out their second straight home game, with about 8,000 tickets remaining Sunday against the Houston Texans.
The Rams did not ask the NFL for a 24-hour extension, executive vice president of football operations Kevin Demoff said Thursday.
St. Louis also failed to sell out Nov. 29 against the Seahawks and will have trouble avoiding a local television blackout for the season finale Jan. 3 against the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams are 0-6 at home and 1-12 overall this season.
