Late TD lifts Lindenwood past Carroll, Montana

HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- Matt Bramow's 10-yard touchdown catch with 49 seconds left capped an 88-yard march in a driving snowstorm and lifted Lindenwood to a 42-35 victory over Carroll College in the NAIA semifinals Saturday.

Bramow also caught a 9-yard scoring pass for the Lions (14-0), who will play defending national champion Sioux Falls for the championship Dec. 19.

Despite the conditions, Philip Staback completed 25 of 35 passes for 374 yards and three TDs.

Denodus O'Bryant ran 20 times for 154 yards and scored on runs of 3 and 43 yards.

The Lions' winning drive began with a 49-yard pass to Marcel Thompson, who had three catches for 98 yards.

John Camino carried 23 times for 158 yards and three touchdowns for the Saints (13-1). Carroll quarterback Gary Wagner was just 9-for-18 for 49 yards.

The temperature at kickoff was 18 degrees.
