Wednesday December 2:

Metropolis Wine Club – Holiday Swinging With Sauvignons 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Private Residence – 3622 S. Broadway, 63118. Jump, jive and swing to live music and sample Sauvignons in an antique collector’s residence decorated in Machine Age Art Deco. Suggested Attire: Retro Swing or Holiday Festive. Each guest brings a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon or Sauvignon Blanc or a plate of appetizers to share. RSVP at by Tuesday, December 1 at 5pm. Contact if you miss the deadline or need to cancel after registering.
Thursday December 3:
ABSTRAKT Art Gallery invites you to an Art Gala. Featuring work from 8 artists who have shown this year. The night will also OPEN a new show with painter Thomas Yanko and mixed media artist Eric Nichols. The event will be a fundraiser for Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. 7pm, 1902 Arsenal St. 
Friday December 4:
Alive Magazine’s Holiday Bash. 10pm at Mandarin-44 Maryland Plaza in the Central West End.
Ladies enjoy free admission; gentlemen pay $5 at the door. Doors open at 10pm. Cocktail attire suggested.
Booze and Schmooze. 7 p.m. - 10 Llywelyn's Pub - 1732 9th St., St. Louis. In the past 2 years, Booze and Schmooze has had events all over St. Louis bringing hundreds of fun young professionals together for drinks and networking. There is no guest list and no cover, just tell them you’re with B&S at the door. Drink specials until 10 p.m. include $3 drafts and $3 wells.

Holiday Magic at America’s CenterIn addition to a holiday village filled with vendors offering an assortment of holiday décor items, unique gifts and demonstrations by artisans and crafters, there will be a dazzling light show, full-scale carnival, live entertainment, and much more. 

The Big Ass Indie Art and Craft Show. Mad Art Gallery - 2727 S. 12th St. St. Louis. An alternative to the normal holiday craft shows focusing on presenting original art and hand-made crafts.
Saturday December 5:
Toys for Tots Toy Drive Charity Scavenger Hunt, Stocking Stuffer! 10am to 12pm but teams must pre-register on-line.
Stray Rescue’s Hope for the Holidays gala6:30 p.m. - 11 The Moto Museum - 3441 Olive Blvd. Guests will enjoy a wonderful buffet dinner from 25 local restaurants, an open bar, live music and a silent auction. Celebrity guests Loretta Swit and John Garcia from Best Friends Animal Society will be present.  Tickets are $125 each.
