ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The FBI in St. Louis has launched a Web site aimed at helping authorities investigate and solve bank robberies.
Special Agent in Charge Roland Corvington said Monday the site will give the public a place to submit essential tips around the clock.
The Web site features photos and descriptions of alleged bank robbers in the 48 counties and city of St. Louis covered by the FBI's St. Louis field office.
Corvington said other cities have used similar Web sites with great success.
Of the 59 robberies recorded this year in eastern Missouri, 70 percent have been solved.
