(KMOV) -- Crews have shut down two lanes on a stretch of Interstate 64 that will affect Monday's morning commute.
MoDOT has closed the two left lanes on eastbound Interstate 64 from 20th St. to 8th St. MoDOT said the closures are necessary for maintenance and painting work on bridge structures between Pine and 8th Street.
One of the lanes should reopen before the morning commute Monday. The other lane will open after noon on Monday.
The eastbound 11th Street exit ramp from I-64, eastbound Ewing Ave. entrance ramp to I-64 and the east and westbound Pine St. entrance ramp to I-64 will all remain closed until noon on Monday.
Drivers can detour on I-170 northbound to I-70. The Jefferson, 20th/Chestnut, 14th St. and 6th St. exit ramps on I-64 will still be open. Drivers from Illinois can detour to I-270/255 or use another alternate route.
