(KMOV) -- Police were busy early Saturday morning after two shooting and a car fire, all of which are believed to be related.
Police found 34-year-old Sherron Caldwell in his car with multiple gunshot wounds at about 2:26 a.m. in the 4400 block of Clarence and was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Witnesses reported seeing a newer model red Impala firing shots and driving away from the scene.
Police said at about 2:35 a.m. a 25-year-old man was shot in the back and a leg in the 4400 block of Athlon. He is listed in critical but stable condition. Witnesses again reported seeing a red Impala, this time exchanging gunfire with another vehicle.
Police said the 25-year-old was more than likely an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
Police found the Impala on fire at about 4 a.m. in the 4600 block of Ashland. They believe the car is the one related to both shootings.
