ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -- The 15-year-old suspected in the shooting death of a St. Charles County man has surrendered to police.
St. Charles police said Thursday that the teen is being held at the St. Charles County Juvenile Justice Center. His name was not released.
Police have said they believe the teen was the one who pulled the trigger in the death of 23-year-old Daniel Brennan of Wentzville. Two other suspects are in custody and charged with second-degree murder, attempted robbery and armed criminal aciton.
The shooting happened last week. Police say one of the men set up a heroin deal, but when Brennan arrived, the teen got into the car, pulled a handgun and demanded money, then shot him in the back.
