Woman found dead in Pacific died of heroin overdose

(KMOV) – A 22-year-old woman found dead in Pacific, Missouri Wednesday afternoon died of a heroin overdose.

The body of Brandie Robbins of St. Clair, Missouri was discovered around 12:15 p.m. in a commercial area of Pacific on Rose Lane and Lamar Street.

According to police, an autopsy revealed Robbins died of a heroin overdose. She leaves behind a three-month-old daughter. Robbins was a previous resident of Pacific and attended high school there.

Witnesses say she was found in the front seat of a van that had been parked there for several hours.

Police are looking for a male person of interest who was the last person seen with Robbins.

Police say this is the sixth heroin death in Pacific and around the thirtieth heroin related death in Franklin County within the last three years.
