Overnight fire damages Normandy businesses

(KMOV) – Investigators are trying to determine the cause of an overnight fire in Normandy that damaged two businesses.

Fire ripped through the North Oaks Plaza at the intersection of Lucas and Hunt and Natural Bridge around midnight Tuesday. It started in the storage area of the Gifts store.
Gifts is a total loss.
BBC Communications, a cell phone store next door sustained substansial smoke and water damage. There was slight damage to Metro Dialysis. Metro Dialysis is expected to stay open.
There are no reports of any injuries. Investigators do not believe the fire was intentional but are investigating as a formality.
