Stingrays create artwork at St. Louis Zoo

(KMOV)-- The stingrays at the St. Louis Zoo will soon become artists. This summer, they'll be swimming through tubes. When they do, it activates a lever that push a paint brush on a canvas. Their works of art will be on sale in the gift shop.

Zoo hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Admission to Stingrays is $3 for the general public and $1.50 for Zoo Friends members. Children under two are free. Admission is free the first hour the Zoo is open. Stingray feedings are $1.00 per cup.
