The Keil will reopen its door in the fall 2011. This sounds great for St. Louis. It means one less vacant building in downtown. It also means more people will head to the city to see great performers. Residents may also like that the Keil is reopened because it will give them more options for entertainment. On any given weekend you can chose from several venues to see great acts. Crews are told rehabbing the building which has been closed since 1991 will come at a price tag of 78.7 million dollars.
