(KMOV) – A woman contacted News 4 saying that a valet totaled her car, and that she’s not happy with the way the company responded.
Vicki Caudell’s parents took her to Lumiere Place Casino in St. Louis to celebrate her 51st birthday, but she didn’t leave with the birthday present she expected.
A police report shows that the valet told an officer he blacked out moments before smacking into a giant cement pillar.
The casino paid for a rental car, and also offered to pay the Kelley Blue Book value for the vehicle. However, Caudell owes more than the estimated value.
After several calls, the Casino’s insurance company eventually bumped the number up to the $16,000 figure.
