Gwen Ifill book signing through St. Louis County Library

(KMOV)—Vickie Newton will serve as program Master of Ceremonies for the St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Buzz Westfall Favorite Author Series.

Gwen Ifill, a journalist and “Washington Week” moderator, will be discussing and signing her book, “The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama”

On Saturday, July 10th, at 2p.m. Ifill will be signing her book at the Danforth Chapel of Mary Institute and Country Day School located at 101 N. Warson Rd. in St. Louis.

This event is free and open to the public with doors opening at 1p.m. Also, Ifill’s book will be for sale at the event through Borders for the signing.

Gwen Ifill career background includes; being the moderator and managing editor of “Washington Week” and senior correspondent of “The NewsHour” with Jim Lehrer. She has also served as chief congressional and political correspondent for NBC News, and as a reporter for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, and Boston Herald American.
