ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Blues and veteran defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo have agreed to a two-year contract extension.
Terms of the contract announced Tuesday were not disclosed. Blues general manager Doug Armstrong called the 27-year-old a solid part of the Blues' defensive core.
Colaiacovo was second among St. Louis defensemen with a career-high 32 points last season, with seven goals and 25 assists. In seven NHL seasons he has 22 goals and 72 assists, along with 146 penalty minutes.
