(KMOV) – Two men were arrested on Saturday after being suspected of burglarizing a car in Alton.

Joshua Breden, 19, of Alton and William Corbin of Gillespie, Ill. were arrested on four counts of burglary.

The Sheriff’s Office met with members of the Alton Police Department at 311 Aladdin after police were called there for a disturbance. The victim told the deputies from the Sheriff’s Office that his car had been burglarized the previous evening but had not reported it.  The victim learned that Breden and Corbin were supposedly responsible after speaking with neighbors. It was also determined there that Breden and Corbin had allegedly burglarized four different vehicles on Vine Street in Meadowbrook, Illinois the previous evening, according to authorities. Property had been recovered from those burglaries.
