(KMOV) -- A missing 42-year-old woman has been found. According to St. Louis police, Pearl Davis was found around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday. A relative says Davis, who was reported missing earlier this week, was found in a park.
That relative also says that Davis was taken to a local hospital in north St. Louis County. She is reportedly a little bruised and battered, but family says she is otherwise okay.
Investigators plan to follow up with Davis to ensure that no crime was commited against her.
Relatives told police they last saw Davis getting into her car Sunday night and leaving a residence in the 4400 block of Penrose.
Police found Davis' car in the 4600 block of Kossuth on Sunday after responding to a call of a car hitting the front porch of a residence. No driver was located at the scene of the accident. It is unclear if she or someone else was driving the vehicle at the time of the vehicle crash, as no witnesses were found who actually saw the driver of the vehicle.
Police attempted to contact Davis but instead reached a relative around 4 a.m. and notified him of the accident. The relative then tried to contact Davis but was unsuccessful. Relatives continued to attempt to reach Davis throughout the day on Sunday but were unsuccessful each time.
