(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis County police have charged one man with murder after a dying gunshot victim sought help at a Quik Trip gas station on Sunday.
Authorities say Jerrin Brown, 32, was charged with one count first degree murder and one count armed criminal action.
Police said the shooting happened in the 9300 block of Koenig Circle in Berkeley where Paul Moore, 20, arrived with three other individuals early Sunday morning.
Moore was sitting in the back of the vehicle with one other person when Brown allegedly approached the car and opened fire on Moore.
The driver sped away from the scene until he spotted several police officers at the Quik Trip at Natural Bridge and Interstate 170.
As the victims sought help from the officers, Moore was pronounced dead a short time later.
One other person was taken into custody but no formal charges have been filed.
The homicide investigation is ongoing at this time.
