(KMOV)—Ameren Missouri crews have restored power for nearly 400 residents in Wentzville, after a pick-up hit a power pole late Wednesday night.
It happened on Peine Road near Highway 61.
Fire crews say they were able to remove the driver of the car after live wires on the vehicle were shut off. The driver was not seriously hurt.
The Sandbox Beach Volleyball business sustained some electrical damage due to the downed wires.
At least six Ameren Missouri trucks were out there, putting up a new utility pole and working on nearby lines throughout the night.
Power was fully restored to the area shortly after 5am.
