WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOV) -- Police are hoping a reward will lead to an arrest after several weapons were stolen from Heartland Guns and Ammo in Wentzville, Missouri around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities said five pistols and two small caliber assault rifles were stolen.

“I think if you're burglarizing a gun store and stealing multiple weapons that you have some type of intent to either sell them illegally on the street or use them in violent crimes,” says Lt. Leon Burton of the Wentzville Police Department. “Someone knows something about this crime. Someone can make a difference.”

No description of the suspects has been released at this time.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is offering a $5,000 cash reward. If you have any information, call the Wentzville Police Department at 636-639-2180. Callers can remain anonymous.
