ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — It’s a matter of time before the machine’s parts are all in working order. There’s still a screw loose here, a squeaky wheel there. The production order is a hefty one, but it calls for 162 games worth of offense.
Ten games into the season, the Cardinals’ lineup is finally showing some signs that it will meet that demand. By outscoring its competition 14-3 over the last two days, the Redbirds won a pair of games by supplying their pitchers with much-needed run support.
