(KMOV.com)-- After the Cards' first back-to-back wins in the season, Chris Carpenter will start off game 2 Tuesday night in this series against the Diamondbacks.

Carpenter has a strong record starting against Arizona, with a 2.58 ERA in 10 starts. The only problem is Diamondbacks outfielder Chris Young is 6 for 12 against Carpenter, including a homerun and two doubles.

Armando Galarraga will lead for Arizona in his second start against St. Louis. Albert Pujols, struggling with a .150 batting average, has never gone against Galarraga.

Tuesday’s game begins at 8:40 p.m. CT.
