O’FALLON, Mo. (KMOV) – O’Fallon Missouri voters passed a strict smoking ban on Tuesday, but at least one council member is already thinking about changing it because he believes it’s too restrictive.
Voters banned smoking in bars, restaurants and most public places.
The ban does not allow for exemptions like the one in St. Louis County.
Council member Jim Pepper says he’s considering introducing new legislation to allow for some exemptions for businesses.
The start date for the smoking ban has not yet been set.
