(KMOV)-- Bikini Bike Night will go on after all following an agreement between an O’Fallon, Illinois restaurant and the mayor.
The O’Fallon HotShots planned an event for April 5 that would combine bikers and women in bikinis. The city said when it approved the permit, though, the application said nothing about bikinis, nor the fact that hundreds of bikers may be in attendance.
Mayor Gary Graham pulled the permit, but HotShots and Mayor Graham agreed that the women wearing bikinis will stay inside, as well as all alcohol service.
“In my eyes, I don't have a problem with the servers wearing bikinis. I don't have a problem with them having a bike night. But I think if they're going to have an event that's advertised in 'Full Throttle Magazine' and have 200-300 bikes there, we need to see if we're prepared for that--if they're prepared for that,” Jeremy Mouser, O'Fallon Alderman, said, after the permit was withdrawn.
