(KMOV) -- A Florissant skate park is being torn down after a hundred thousand dollars of taxpayer money was spent to build it nine years ago.
The city says they’re sick of vandals spray painting graffiti all over the ramps and concrete at Donald Bond Skate Park.
The park will be torn down on Friday. City officials say it would cost nearly $10,000 to clean up the park and they don’t have the money to do that right now.
The ramps have been sold to a small town just north of Kansas City, Missouri for just a little more than a thousand dollars.
