(KMOV.com) -- Four St. Louis police officers will have to hand over part of their personal cell phone records to the department.
A federal judge ordered the officers to release any records on text messages that included photos.
The department will use those records to learn more about who sent and received a photo of the bullet-ridden body of Carlos Boles. Boles was shot and killed during a shootout with police and U.S. Marshals in south St. Louis.
