Centreville, IL man charged with cocaine possession

(KMOV.com) -- Ronald L. Tolliver, 41, from Centreville, Illinois has been charged with Possession and Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine.

The charge was originally suppressed, but an investigation by the Working Against Violent Elements Task Force allowed the case to be reopened.

If convicted, Tolliver faces a minimum term of five years in prison and a fine up to $2,000,000.

The "WAVE" Task Force was formed in 2009 and is a collaboration of law enforcement officers from Illinois State Police, Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, the East St. Louis Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the United States Marshals Service.
