Parties On The Plaza, 5-8pm. Old Post Office Plaza, 801 Locust Street. Live music, food and beverages, giveaways.   
Cocktails for a Cause at Yemanja Brasil, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 2900 Missouri  St. Louis, Mo 63118
The $10 donation at the door goes to a charitable organization in the St. Louis area.
Thursday August 19:
Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s “Celebrity Waitresses’ & Waiters’ Night” at Plaza Frontenac on
Sounds at the Station Free Concert Series at the Union Station Lake Stage, 5 pm - 8:30 pm. 
Butch Wax & the Hollywood’s to perform.
Party In The Plaza at Westport Plaza. Live music and entertainment beginning at 5pm. 
The free outdoor movie festival Cinemania returns by popular demand to Grand Center’s Strauss Park at the intersection of Grand and Washington boulevards.   Billy Elliot starts at 8:30pm.
Friday August 20:
Midtown Alley Street Fest! 4:00pm - 11:00pm. Happy Hour on Locust Street in the heart of Midtown Alley. Free to the public, Locust will be closed from Garrison to Compton to celebrate the neighborhood with food and drinks. Six bands will perform at the Grand Music Sage at Garrison and Locust.
Jungle Boogie at the Zoo. Friday Night Concert Series. Free. 5-8pm at The Schnuck Family Plaza near sea lion basin in center of the Zoo. Hudson and the HooDoo Cats
Third Fridays at Third Degree Glass Factory, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. 5200 Delmar Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108. August dog days got you howlin'?  We got the cure!  Watch artists turn, blow, and pull glowing taffy-like glass into glorious art.  Enjoy art, opera, small plates, live music, fire spinning and more.

Saturday August 21:
47th Annual Moonlight Ramble Bike Ride.  World’s largest nighttime bicycle ride rambles through the streets of St. Louis. The event starts at Soldiers’ Memorial in downtown St. Louis at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, August 22.
