(KMOV) -- Three suspects have been arrested after a bank robbery and police chase that came to an end in north St. Louis.
This started around 7:40 a.m. on Monday at the American Eagle Credit Union in the 8900 block of Dunn Road in Hazelwood.
The robbers hit the bank just as employees were showing up for work. Police say the suspects forced employees to take them inside and give them money.
Authorities tell News 4 that the robbers took off from the scene, but St. Louis city police spotted their Ford Focus and gave chase.
Police say the suspects tossed the gun out of the car in the 3800 block of North Market. The chase continued until the suspects crashed their vehicle in the 3800 block of Garfield in north St. Louis.
All three suspects were arrested. Their names have not yet been released. One of the suspects is a juvenile.
Police say that the robbers took a significant amount of cash from the bank.
