(KMOV) -- There's a sinkhole in Cool Valley that is growing into a huge money pit.
It's causing a headache for patients at Dr. David Sciortino's office. The sink hole showed up on July 21 when rain came down so quickly that Florissant Road and his parking lot became a part of Florissant River.
Soil around an underground storm drain caved in, and it's still not fixed and every storm is making things worse. MSD said the stormwater drain is not their responsibility because it was installed without permits or their permission.
Sciortino said the previous owned had permission to build the drain, but the paperwork was lost. Fixing the hole could be as much as $200,000, so he is getting a lawyer to look at the information and find who has responsibility.
