(KMOV)-- Severe weather hit all over the St. Louis area Thursday afternoon.

St. Peters emergency crews are working to help victims of a storm cell that hit the area.

Around Harvester, there were reports of a transformer fire at 31 Charleston Square. Power lines were down across St. Peters Howell Road. The roof blew off of a vacant buidling at 4109 Old Hwy 94. There was damage to vehicles in the parking lot. There is roof damage at the Meineke Auto Parts at 94 Charleston Square. A minor injury was reported.

 A viewer reported roof and tree damage in the 1000 block of Jungermann Road.

AmerenUE says they have restored power to nearly all of the communities affected by the storms. The storms knocked out power to more than 12,000 customers in the north St. Louis, North St. Louis County, Wentzville, as well as several smaller communities.
