ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Oshiomogho Atogwe (oh-shee-oh-MOH'-goh ah-TAHG'-way) has been out of action for a long time and he's ready to get back on the field for the St. Louis Rams.
The 29-year-old Atogwe, now in his sixth season, has started 60 of 72 career games. He was second on the team in 2009 with 82 tackles, despite missing the final four games with a shoulder injury.
He hasn't played since that Dec. 6 injury and he can't wait. He recently agreed to a five-year, 31.6 million deal with St. Louis after failing to agree on a contract earlier.
The Rams open the preseason Saturday against Minnesota.
