Police looking for suspects after south St. Louis robbery, police chase

(KMOV) -- St. Louis police are looking for two suspects involved in an overnight police chase that ended with the suspects crashing into a garage.
 
The incident started around 10:30 p.m. on Monday as an armed robbery in the 3000 block of Wisconsin Street in south St. Louis.
 
Police chased the suspects up I-55 through downtown St. Louis and then onto I-70. The crash ended at the corner of Mt. Pleasant and Compton.
 
Two people were arrested after the chase, but they were not the suspects and were released.
 
It is unclear how much damage the crash caused to the garage.
 
Investigators have not said what the suspects were accused of stealing.
 
No one was seriously injured. The search for the suspects continues.
