(KMOV)-- Metrolink services in downtown St. Louis have been restored after a brief outage Tuesday morning.
According to an Ameren spokesperson, around 4a.m., a truck hit a temporary power that was put in place for construction on the 12th street Bridge.
The line fell and hit the Metrolink power source. Around 5a.m. Ameren had restored power but it wasn’t till 6:45a.m., that Metrolink had finished repairing their equipment.
As a result, there was no Metrolink service between Grand and Busch Stadium for a few hours. Those services are now back up and running.
Ameren has coordinated with Metrolink to replace the temporary power line with a planned outage at 1a.m on Wednesday.
