Missouri voters say no to federal health care law; Prop C passes

(KMOV) -- Missouri's primary elections are making headlines across the country.

Voters overwhelmingly rejected a federal mandate to purchase health insurance.

More than 70-percent of people who went to the polls voted yes for Proposition C -- meaning they think the federal health care law should change.

The decision is likely to be symbolic, though, because it will head to the courts next to determine if Missouri can exempt itself from a federal law.
