(KMOV) -- Voters in St. Louis City today have a chance to approve a measure that, supporters say, will drastically help St. Louis schools.
Proposition S is a $155,000,000 bond issue designed to repair some schools. Supporters say the measure would allow the schools to make badly needed improvements to old buildings which would make them safer for students. Some would be stripped of lead paint and asbestos and fitted with new electrical wiring.
There is no organized oppositional group to the measure.
