Woman stabbed multiple times in Belleville carjacking; cell phone saves life

(KMOV) -- Two suspects have been charged in the carjacking, kidnapping case in Belleville. 

James Robinson, 21, and Stephen Robinson, 25, have been charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking and one count of aggravated kidnapping.
 
According to police, the victim was returning home after work at 3:45a.m., on Sunday, when she was approached in the parking lot of her home in the 300 block of N. 49th by one of the suspects with a handgun.
 
 He then forced her into the back of her car and drove away.
 
The victim and the suspect fought and the victim was put into the trunk of her car.
 
The suspect stopped in the 6500 block of Old Missouri Ave where the victim was removed from the trunk by two suspects who then stabbed her several times.
 
The suspects took the victim into a wooded field where she was again stabbed and choked.
 
The victim was able to call 9-1-1 from her cell phone which helped locate her.
 
Both suspects have the same name but have no relation to one another.
 
Bail for the suspects has been set at $1,000,000 each.
