(KMOV) -- Vandals struck for the second time this year at a St. Louis community center.
A release from the Northside Community Center said vandals slashed tires of four passenger vans owned by NCC on July 25.
NCC said this is the second act of vandalism this year. Several computers, children's toys and electronics were taken in the first incident. A surveillance system was installed afterward and caputred the crime on tape and has been turned into police.
Damages from the vadalism forced NCC to cancel a several rides to medical appointments for the elderly and will cost hundreds of dollars
NCC uses the vans to give rides to and from medical appointments for the elderly and to transport kids to agency activities.
