Superintendent Terry Noble will not accept the 45 thousand dollar raise the Mehlville School Board approved for him in the spring. Today Superintendent Noble sent an email to parents explaining his decision. In it, Noble mentions how discussions about his salary have taken away from discussions about improving classroom life for students. He goes on to say throughout his career he’s but students needs first and he has no plans to stop.
Noble will get a slight raise next year; his salary will increase by 3 percent. In the 2009-2010 academic year he made 181 thousand dollars, in the approaching 2010-2011 school year he will make 187 thousand dollars.
