Mehlville superintendent turns down $45,000 raise

(KMOV) -- The superintendent of the Mehlville School District will not receive a $45,000 raise.

Last spring, News 4 told you about the school board's vote to increase Terry Noble's salary to $226,000.

The deal sparked outrage among parents.

Noble is now turning that money down.

In a letter addressed to parents, Noble says he'll take the same percentage salary increase as senior staff members.
