Two suspects caught burglarizing cars in Illinois

 (KMOV)—Two suspects were caught burglarizing cars in the Worden and Edwardsville area Monday afternoon.

 According to police, Dillion E. Underwood, 18, of Livingston, Illinois was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary after a witness allegedly saw Underwood, with a juvenile, burglarizing a car in the Wildewood subdivision in Worden, Illinois.
The witness called the sheriff’s office and continued to follow the suspects.
The suspects crashed their car on Old Carpenter Road and Jerusalem Road in Edwardsville, once they realized they were being followed. Underwood stayed with the car and the other suspect fled on foot.
Both suspects were taken into custody and the juvenile was taken to the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center.
Once detectives arrived at the scene, they found stolen property around the area the car was crashed. The recovered items included; loose change, pocket knives, GPS devices, and phone chargers.
The locations of the three burglaries are: the 800 block of Ruskin Avenue, Edwardsville, 8700 block of Wildewood, and the first block of Lakeview Drive both in Worden, Illinois.
Bond has been set for Underwood at $75,000.
