St. Charles man sentenced to life in prison for statutory sodomy

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo (KMOV.com) – A St. Charles County man has been sentenced to life in prison after he was charged and convicted of three counts of statutory sodomy.

Police say William Thomas Wilburn, 48, contacted a minor and brought the minor to his home in St. Charles and performed various sex acts on the minor.

Wilburn as sentenced to life in prison on each of the three counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, one count of statutory rape in the first degree and 15 years for distributing a controlled substance to a minor.

“This man is a sexual predator,” said Prosecutor Tim Lohmar. “And this community is safer now that he will be behind bars for life.”

Wilburn is already a registered sex offender and plead guilty in 2007 to statutory rape and statutory sodomy in the second degree.
