ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A delivery driver was stabbed while delivering food to a south St. Louis home Monday night.
According to police, the suspect met 34-year-old Feixang Fang in front of a residence in the 1800 block of Russell and asked the man to follow him to the back of the residence so he could get money for the food. While the two were walking, the suspect produced a knife and cut Fang on the neck.
The suspect then took the food and money from the victim and fled the scene.
"He tried to kill me, he nearly almost killed me," said Fang. "If he cut a little bit over here, I'd be gone last night, I have three kids at home."
Fang was able to return to his vehicle and go to a nearby business, where he called police.
The suspect is described as a black man, in his 20s, with dreadlocks. Police say the suspect was wearing a black coat and jeans at the time of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
