ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The Better Business Bureau says it has received more than 50 recent complaints from customers against the owner of a rental assistance firm.
St. Charles resident Patricia Ann Draine, the owner of Elite Placement, has been sued for defrauding consumers by the Missouri General.
Draine, who has gone by numerous names, has been accused of taking deposits from clients with the promise of refunding it if the company could not help them get into a new home. Customers say they did not receive their refunds from Draine or the company as promised.
The BBB says Elite Placement currently has an “F” rating, the lowest possible.
