CHICAGO (AP) -- The second insurance sign-up season under President Barack Obama's health care law is getting started in Illinois.
Free help is available Saturday at many churches, health departments and hospitals around the state.
In Rockford, enrollment coordinator Carol West says people are dropping by to get help from trained enrollment counselors at the Winnebago County Health Department and at St. Anthony Medical Center.
She says the HealthCare.gov website was working well Saturday morning without any of the glitches that stalled the process for many shoppers last year. She says it's easier this year to compare the private health plans available and what they cover.
West says the best advice for returning customers is to "review before you renew" to ensure they're getting the best deals.
