Four suspects sought following armed robberies in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two robbery attempts occurred minutes apart from one another in south St. Louis early Monday morning.

Police responded to a call just before 5:54 a.m. at the Caffe Palermo in the 4400 block of Delor.

Witnesses told News 4 four guys walked into the shop and demanded money from the store’s workers. Witnesses say two of the suspects were armed with guns and one was wearing a mask.

The four suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and cell phones.

Less than six minutes later, a 27-year-old female was in a vehicle in the 4300 block of Gannett when a silver Impala pulled in front of her and the front and rear passengers exited the car and ordered her out of the vehicle at gunpoint.

The victim told police the suspects demanded she give them money and when she said she didn’t have any the suspects returned to their vehicle and fled westbound on Gannett.

No injuries were reported in either incident.
