ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A woman accused of killing a Glen Carbon, Illinois man while driving the wrong way down Interstate 64 last Aug. has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Caitlin Dixson was intoxicated when she drove the wrong way down the interstate, crashed into another vehicle and killed 26-year-old Ryan Roach. Police said Roach’s vehicle burst into flames upon impact.
Authorities said Dixson was two times over the legal drinking limit when the crash occurred.
On Thursday, Dixson was sentenced to serve six years in prison.
