O’FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Five people had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in O’Fallon, Illinois early Friday morning.

The five people were inside the home, located in the 320 block of Agnes Drive, when the fire broke out around 1:30 a.m.

All five occupants were released after being treated.

The O’Fallon Fire Department said the house sustained extensive damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
