ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A man armed with a rifle robbed two people at a South County ATM overnight.

Police say the first robbery occurred at a Bank of America ATM in the 4500 block of Lemay Ferry just before midnight. The victim told police the suspect took cash and a cell phone from him after he finished using the ATM.

A few hours later, another armed robbery was reported at the same bank. The victim told police the suspect took cash and a cell phone.

The victims were not injured in the incident. 

The second victim told police the suspect was driving a dark blue pickup truck.

Shortly after the second robbery, police located the vehicle and a short pursuit began. The pursuit ended when the suspect took his own life in front of Blades Elementary School.
