(KMOV.com) – In light of recent crime, leaders in downtown St. Louis are offering safety guides for those who live and work downtown.
The Downtown Community Improvement District is providing guides for anyone as they walk to their car, work, or home. The organization said it is adding more staff to accommodate demand.
“We are also hearing about other downtown business that are just buddying up and taking each other to their cars. Call a guide or just walk with a friend, it’s just a good thing to do right now,” said Missy Kelley with Downtown STL Inc.
The service is available from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. For more information, click here.
