ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police are investigating after three teens were shot in the legs near Union Station Wednesday evening.
Authorities said the three victims were shot around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 18th and Clark. All of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, two of the teens were taken to a hospital.
“They just said they were walking across the lot, heard what they thought was gun fire and felt pain. They’re being very uncooperative. If citizens don’t help us, we can’t help them,” said Maj. Rochelle Jones with St. Louis Police.
Anyone with information about the shooting is being urged to contact police.
Authorities said they increased patrols throughout downtown after a man was beaten and robbed near 10th and Olive on Monday night.
